We are looking for experienced, dependable candidates to fill the position of Installation Technician. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:__
**

o Perform installations of automation, networking, security, surveillance, and managed service devices.

o Ensure efficiency in the field by utilizing available resources such as manufacturer technical support, installation manuals, and co-workers’ experience and expertise.

o Follow sketches and blueprints provided by the sales team.

o Ensure all installation are neat and clean and the job site is cleaned up.

o Train the customer and ensure they know how to operate their system properly, answer all questions customers may have while ensuring all paperwork is signed by the customer prior to leaving.

o Complete all post installation check lists before leaving the job site and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.

o Maintain open and frequent communications through end-of-day installations email with the group.

o Perform fire alarm inspections and PAP annual maintenance visits.

o Assist with physical inventory counts.

o Follow the after-hours schedule as assigned.

o Monitor all notifications that arise through the managed services and central stations platforms and respond in a timely manner to ensure all issues are resolved.

o Communicate regularly and professionally with clients regarding their notifications via email or text.

o Educate the customer on any additional services that could benefit them.

o Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, in house tech support to the end-users, and requests about products and services.

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Experience with door access, programming, and troubleshooting system, preferred.
• Ability to program a variety of system panels, preferred.
• Experience with installation of security, fire, and CCTV, preferred.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must possess strong attention to detail, good organizational skills with the ability to ensure accurate work.
• Ability to work independently but as part of a team concept.
• Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
