Starting salary is $23.13 and goes up once you complete the academy to $26.89 to the maximum of $33.50 as a Peace Officer after 5 years, this also includes employer paid life insurance, medical, vision, dental package, and a retirement plan.

Qualification Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Must be 20 years old
• Must have valid NYS 8 and 16 hr. and a security guard license.
• Must not be convicted of any crime(s)
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Valid NYS Driver's license (no restrictions or serious traffic violations)
• You must LIVE in New York City within the 5 boroughs (Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island)
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check by NYPD to obtain Peace Officer status
• Must be able to complete 8wk physical training academy (Cooper Standards)

Pay: From $23.13 per hour
