Job Summary : To produce top quality for the internal customer at production standards. Machine Parts and Descriptions : Blendomat (BDT / BO-A) An automatic bale opener used when cotton or other fiber material is the main component.
High density bale is broken down into large clumps or tufts of fibers MPM (Mixers) Multi mixing system that offers maximum homogeneity and blending of fiber materials.
Provides a uniform mix that is reproducible LVSA Opens fiber and stores it for fiber regulation and control. CL-C4 (Cleaners) Fine cleaner for medium to severely contaminated cotton Dx (Dustex) a high efficiency dust separator that effectively removes micro-dust particles at the end of the cleaning line installation TC03 (Trutzschler Cards) Mechanical process that disentangles, cleans and intermixes fibers to produce a continuous web or sliver suitable for subsequent processing IDF (Integrated Draw Frames) Fully automatic synchronization of the delivery speed with the card by regulating the sliver sagging between the machines by means of light barriers Essential Job Duties : Ensure the operation of all carding machines and all components as well as, specified opening equipment, at all times, while maintaining specified production standards.
Repair broken sliver ends as needed Sliver breaks Coiler head chokes Tags producing thick spots Change Blendomat laydowns as needed.
Sweep floor & assigned Card area & CL-C4’s three times per shift at (9 : 00, 1 : 00, and 5 : 00) Blow off outside of cards, floor, between cards, and around coiler heads once per shift at 4 : 00 Keep all cans aligned at all times Maintain good housekeeping in designated area at all times Report any unsafe work practices and / or conditions to shift manager immediately Do not operate any card if safety switches are not working properly.
This includes side door switches and coiler hood switch. Notify technician or shift manager of any machine malfunctions Perform any other duties assigned by shift manager Employment Type : Full Time
