Crt specialist

Position Summary

The CRT Specialist provides field installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for CRT and torque turn operations, liaising with various equipment OEMs when needed.

Essential functions

• Must have the ability and knowledge to perform Top-Drive Calibrations.
• Must have the ability and knowledge to dress and undress casing running tools (Tesco, Top-Tek, and Volant, preferred).
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Observe maintenance procedures and keep all tools and shop equipment in good working condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance on company equipment including torque turn computer systems, torque subs, and CRTs.
• Troubleshoot and repair torque turn computer systems, torque subs, and CRTs.
• Complete and maintain appropriate repair and maintenance documentation as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Load and unload trucks, either manually or using a forklift.
• Conduct a daily JSA and report any safety concerns observed.
• Communicate with customer on any issues or needs.

• Prior casing running experience a plus, but not required.
• Must have the ability to listen and learn.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• A minimum 1-3 years of experience repairing and maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, with most items weighing between 2 and 20 pounds.
• Must be able to wear safety glasses, hart hat, impact gloves and safety shoes.

Physical demands and work environment

• Oversee and manage the overall quality of projects and / or employee performance.
