Job Responsibilities:
- Answer phone or assist walk-ins as needed.
- Maintenance of Body Shop work areas and equipment.
- Maintaining a clean work environment in Body Shop.
- Detailing of vehicles for delivery.
- Basic preparation of vehicles and parts: e.g. sanding, taping, edge painting and polishing.
- Dismantling of vehicles and parts, reassembly of same.
- All technical work to be performed by hand, electrical or pneumatic tools.
- Assist technicians.
- Removal of debris and damaged parts for proper disposal. Warranty parts to be returned to Parts Dept.
- Drive customers to work and home as required.
- Ensure that working areas are kept clean.
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
Job Qualifications:
- General mechanical skills.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Pass pre-employment insurability, background and drug screenings.
