Preschool Teacher
The Preschool Teacher (working with children 2 1 / 2-3 1 / 2 years) position is a part time position.
Monday-Friday, 7-1pm.
Note - Extra hours may be available if interested in becoming a Substitute within other classrooms (extra hours will not impact current hours for the Long-Term Preschool Teacher position).
Responsibilities
- Assist in lesson plans and activities; follow daily schedule and ratios (1 : 8)
- Provide input on each child's development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children, providing a pleasant classroom environment
- Maintain communication with Lead Teacher and parents
- Become knowledgeable in state licensing standards and policies / procedures of the center
- Participate in staff meetings
- Complete 6 Professional Development Training hours, per year
- Required : minimum High School Diploma
- Complete required trainings within first 30 and 90 days of employment
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- In times of need, employees may be asked to complete related duties other than those indicated above.
