We’re looking for a Field Office Admin to join our team in Cromwell, CT to assist the Area Manager in charge of Telecommunication Construction. As a Field Office Administrative Assistant, you will support the processing of billing and payroll, related to both field employees and subcontractor workers. The Field Office Admin should possess experience in an office environment and have some understanding of accounting. You should also have good communication skills and be very detail oriented.
- Perform daily assigned tasks as related to specific functions that may include any combination of Billing, Payroll, Purchase Orders, Dispatch, Locates, etc.
- General clerical duties, tasks, or special projects as required or assigned
- Work across Departments to facilitate communication
- Experience providing administrative support with some understanding of accounting theory, terminology, and practices
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Business Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word), Google apps and other accounting software
- Must be able to lift/carry heavy objects – on average up to 15-20 pounds
