What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector Quality Assurance position at Parkside?
We are currently seeking Telecommunications Construction Inspectors to work in the Scranton, PA and surrounding areas. Preferred candidate for the Construction Inspector will work in the field completing tasks for telecommunication construction projects. The Telecommunications Construction Inspector’s duties may include pre-job and post-job quality control, surveying of jobs, call before you dig and the cataloging of site information. Duties of the Construction Inspector are directed by the Construction Supervisor. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean background history. Telecommunication Construction experience is a plus but is not required.
- Interact with, subcontractors, local municipalities and homeowners
- Perform job tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company policy
- Prepare and distribute pre and post construction site documentation
- Survey sites and provide information to clearance systems and supervisors
- Assist in the preparation of red line prints and as-builds
- Monitor and track completion of job sites
- Work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Must be reliable and able to work independently
- Must possess a valid driver license w/ clean driving record
- Must be able to read construction drawings and prints and verify production as reported
- Must have good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience with Excel, Google Docs, and Gmail a plus
- Able to perform work which includes lifting, carrying, crouching, and walking long distances
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions in an outdoor environment
