Job Posting for Mental Performance Coach at Parkview Health

Must have a Bachelors Degree in sports psychology or related area granted from a US regionally accredited college or university. Masters Degree in sports psychology or equivalent certifications is preferred. iPEC Membership preferred upon hire. MGCP (Mental Game Coaching Professional Certification) or MPM (Mental Performance Mastery Certification) Certification required within 2 years of hire. Must have current CPR certification. Minimum of 5 years experience in mental performance coaching preferably with emphasis on high school and college athletes preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be available to work weekends holidays and conduct evening public speaking programs. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Ability to perform the physical demands of frequent standing walking stooping and bending. Must understand athletic schedules urgency of athletic needs and ability to understand the unique needs of athletes and athletic programs.
