Purpose of Your Job Position

You are entrusted with the caring for our residents, providing positive interactions, and being an enthusiastic and energy driven team leader. The primary purpose of your position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and leading our nursing assistants in a positive friendly manner. Supervision is in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Clinical Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. We want you to provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.

Job Function

You are given administrative authority to responsibility, carry out your assigned duties. You will be responsible for providing direct resident care in accordance with established plans and supervise the team reporting to you. This job description does not list all the duties of the job. Duties and Responsibilities

Provide regular resident status updates to appropriate personnel. Supervise your team and participate in team member evaluations. Conduct and document a thorough evaluation of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout the resident's course of treatment. Assist in the implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident. Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines and complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Attend and participate in department/facility meetings, as required. Act in compliance with regulatory and professional standards and guidelines. Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to discipline and responsibilities in order to maintain clinical competency. Adhere to facility policies and procedures and participates in facility quality improvement and safety programs. Oversee Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program for those residents on their team. Demonstrate compassion in every interaction. Be respectful of residents and other team members and conduct oneself with the highest degree of honesty and integrity in every interaction.
