Job Summary:
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyses business and financial data.
- Creates financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
- Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.
- Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Manage the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through the coordination of activities with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing.
- Lead the review and submission of key performance indicators (KPIs) on a routine basis; analyzing critical data and preparing presentations for management review and discussion.
- Manage the coordination and preparation of diverse business plans, forecasts, analyses and reports for management review on a routine or ad hoc basis.
- Provide critical financial summaries for acquisition-related impacts to budget and/or forecast submissions on an ongoing basis.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the integrated planning model; making required changes as they affect the assigned business unit(s).
- Oversee the filing of all applicable government reports on a routine basis.
- Provide technical guidance.
- Assist with special projects; designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with Board of Directors, Executives and outside parties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
- Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
- Thorough understanding of project management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Two years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst OR valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least one year of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings.
