What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Parma Furniture Co?
Parma Furniture is a small town family owned furniture company that prides itself on great customer service and being able to service the entire Treasure Valley.
Parma Furniture is looking to hire a full time bookkeeper.
Duties will include Quickbooks data entry- posting sales receipts, invoices and payments received accurately and in a timely manner
Answering phones-answering customer inquiries or directing the caller to someone that can quickly and accurately assist them
Payroll-hourly, salary, and commissions based payroll
Paying sales tax and payroll taxes accurately and in a timely manner
Balancing the books at the end of each day- making sure all sales and dollars are accounted for at the end of the day
Bank reconciliation
Pricing & tracking inventory
Ordering parts for customers and inventory
Vendor claims on products received damaged
Assisting customers to obtain financing
A/P-Paying all bills according to vendor terms accurately
A/R- Receiving payments from customers and posting them to the correct account
Other duties as assigned.
Quickbooks and DOT experience preferred but necessary.
Applicant must be available to work Saturday's.
