We have been a leader in Integrated design and delivery of critical infrastructure for more than 75 years and are looking for experienced Highway Design Engineers at various levels of experience to add to our New Jersey team, located in our Newark office. We have a great backlog of work, in both conventional and design-build project delivery and are looking for strong leaders with the ability to lead projects and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
We are seeking these engineers to support some of the region’s largest on-going and upcoming transportation projects. We are looking to add Civil/Highway engineers at various levels, including Engineer II, Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer, and Supervising Engineer, to our NY/NJ team. The successful candidates can work from our office in Newark or Lawrenceville, and we are open to those who live elsewhere in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut to work remotely from home, with travel to meetings in New Jersey and New York as needed.
In this position you will perform highway, interchange, and street design including geometric design, 3D modeling, drainage design, work zone traffic control and construction staging, construction specification development and material quantity calculations. You will utilize engineering software and interface with CAD designers, as well as other engineers and subcontractors. Keys to your success will be your civil engineering acumen and highway design background.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 5 years of related work experience. In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required.
