Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager- Innovation Operations to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and implementation of a portfolio of research and innovation projects on NEOM The Line. The ideal candidate will have a good technical background and experience in project management and coordination of multiple projects. The role will suit an individual who takes the initiative in a fast-paced complex environment and is keen to hone their agile programme management skills.
Key points of responsibility
Proactively lead the monitoring and control of a portfolio of projects to ensure that it is being delivered to budget, schedule and quality requirements. Provide robust project portfolio reporting.
Develop, maintain and manage project risk registers. Detailed identification and management of change control.
Develop and implement agile project management processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, manage resources, and identify and resolve project issues.
Work with cross-functional teams including design teams, SMEs, researchers, product management, development, and quality assurance to identify and prioritize needs.
Manage relationships with external vendors and partners as needed. Maintain and update project management tools and systems to track progress and ensure accountability.
Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including the R&I team and senior leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior years of experience in multidiscipline engineering or research and innovation project portfolio management.
• Good technical background and understanding of project management process and techniques.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced complex environment. •
Takes the initiative in an environment with a high rate of change, recognize emerging patterns and align goals accordingly.
• Experience with contemporary project management software and tools
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve project issues.
• Knowledge of industry-specific best practices related to multi-disciplinary engineering or Research & Innovation projects.
