Primary Purpose:

Provide support to Project Director and Kellogg Evaluator by aiding in data and evaluation requirements, project tracking and reporting, collecting and analyzing data, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, and managing various administrative duties.

Essential Duties:

  • Support the design and conduct of qualitative and quantitative research and data collection, data management, analysis, and reporting;
  • Manage project tracking, literature reviews, and implementation of project initiatives;
  • Assist with maintaining reporting and monitoring databases, prepare, revise and finalize written reports and data visualization;
  • Assist with developing and implementing project management goals and metrics;
  • Develop and maintain communication resources, including infographics and dashboards;
  • Maintain electronic files and folders with up to date documents and record of project milestones;
  • Provide administrative support including, photocopying, scanning, filing, coordinating and/or documenting meetings.

Work Hours:

  • 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or as otherwise determined by the supervisor;
  • Position requires regular and predictable attendance;
  • Some events on evenings or weekends at various times.

Working Conditions:

  • Office and/or partner or program sites;
  • Traveling in personal vehicle to and from program sites, meetings or events;
  • Travel to the neighbor islands and U.S. continent may be required.

Physical:

  • Able to work on the computer for majority of work day;
  • Able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally;
  • Able to stand, sit, kneel and bend.

Communication:

  • Exhibit courteous and professional demeanor towards program participants, staff and administration via verbal, written, physical, and electronic correspondence;
  • Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year college or university in the Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Public Policy or Social Welfare or related field;
  • One to three (1-3) years of progressively responsible work experience in related research, which includes at least one (1) year of experience working in positive youth development of behavioral health services;
  • Some qualitative and quantitative research and data experience;
  • Experience creating models, tables, and functional workbooks in Excel;
  • Familiarity with various research methods and related protocols;
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.);
  • Must have access to a vehicle, have a valid driver's license, a safe and responsible driving record, and current no-fault auto insurance, with at least $100K in bodily injury liability per person and $25K in property damage liability.
