Position: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Shift: 1st & 2nd
Hours: 7:00am – 2:30pm / 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $18.00-20.00 per hour
Location: North Little Rock, AR
Job Responsibilities:
· Safely unload materials from trucks, pallets, or racks, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with operational guidelines
· Sort and allocate materials to the correct pallets or designated locations based on item numbers to ensure accurate and timely shipments
· Apply appropriate labels to boxes or pallets as per the instructions to ensure products are correctly identified and tracked through the logistics process
· Secure pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies to ensure items are safely transported and stored
· Store products in their assigned warehouse locations, maintaining an organized and efficient workspace
· Identify and report any product damage, loss, or surplus to supervisors promptly, ensuring accurate inventory management
· Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track and update the status of products within the warehouse management system
· Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment
· Follow quality service standards, comply with operational procedures, rules, and regulations, including all safety protocols
· Work collaboratively with supervisors and co-workers to achieve daily operational goals
Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel / squat and bend for a minimum of 8 hours
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- 1-3 years of experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment) is highly desirable
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
