KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field or equivalent
3 years retail accounting/finance and paralegal experience
Experience with resolution of tenant/landlord issues
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Understanding of construction and operational issues within a retail environment
Knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting
Strong analytical and negotiating skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to interpret and draft legal documents
Ability to evaluate tenant receivables and initiate collection
JOB SUMMARY:
The Lease Administrator is responsible for resolving real estate operational issues with landlords, stores, legal, construction and accounting personnel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist with all landlord/tenant issues
Interface with legal, construction & accounting departments
Evaluate tenant receivables and initiate collections
Monitor and maintain tracking system for corporate lease related action dates
Review all Rent, CAM & Tax billings for lease compliance
Interpret and prepare legal documents and correspondence to include estoppels, snda’s, insurance certificates, etc
Maintain lease administration program (Siterra)
Perform other duties as needed
