- Monitors the quality of service provided by cashiering personnel relative to company service and operating standards.
- Oversees the daily operation of the cashiering function.
- Monitors issuance of slot jackpots.
- Reviews and investigates overages and shortages.
- Assists in preparing reports and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Submits purchasing requests in a timely fashion to ensure the department maintains an appropriate level of inventory to properly serve customers at all times.
- Manages all areas of responsibility effectively within budgetary guidelines by monitoring and controlling operational and payroll costs.
- Hires and trains Cashiers.
- Evaluates performance of all direct reports, and documents both positive and constructive feedback relative to company service and operating standards.
- Regularly analyze departmental Job Descriptions for relevance and effectiveness.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. At least 3 years of prior experience in a supervisory role or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of standard cage and internal control procedures preferred. Must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong math and money handling skills.
- Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stand, walk, and carry weight for a full 8 hour shift. Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.
