SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS The PASCACK VALLEY REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT, located in northeastern Bergen County in New Jersey, is seeking a Superintendent of Schools. The 2,000 students in the Pascack Valley Regional High School District are enrolled in 2 high schools in grades 9-12 from the towns of Montvale, Woodcliff Lake, Hillsdale, and River Vale. The district also manages "Region lI," a special education consortium which serves the aforementioned communities as well as Emerson, Park Ridge, and Westwood. The district is high-achieving whose communities are very supportive of the school district and its students. Stakeholders are committed to excellence, to a student-centered philosophy, and to enhancing an already successful school district and community. The schools in the district have achieved recognition for excellence and were among the first "Future Ready" schools in New Jersey. The Board of Education is seeking a leader who can build upon the district's many accomplishments, while respecting the school and community culture/traditions and its student-centered vision. The successful candidate should have prior experience as a principal or district level administrator (New Jersey School Administrator Certificate), possessing excellent leadership and communication skills, with a 21st-century educational vision. A background in curriculum development, budgeting, human relations, social/emotional learning, and diversity/equity/belonging experience is a plus.
