Estimator

Estimating of steel packages, primarily within COMMERCIAL construction projects.

• Analyzing plans to gather accurate list of steel materials
• Pricing and procurement of materials and supplies
• Reading/understanding contract specifications
• Possible introduction to project management of smaller projects (increasing as time permits)

Schedule:

• Full-time and part time: 40 hours per week. Monday-Thursday (7:00- 5:00). Fridays usually off!! Overtime possible.

Qualities, Skills, Knowledge Expected:

• Drop Box, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Knowledge of estimating software and construction software
• RFI’s, ASI’s, addendums, submittals.
• 2 years minimum experience with COMMERCIAL construction and/or estimation

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Construction Estimating: 2 years (Preferred)
• Steel fabrication estimating: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Albuquerque, NM 87107: Relocate before starting work (Required)
