Position: Accounting Clerk

Salary Range: $25-28/hour

Work Hours: M- F 9:00-17:00 (1-hr lunch) 35 hours/week

Flex Schedule: Fridays can be remote work (optional) 2 floating remote days/month

General job Description:

  • Reviews invoices for payment approval, three-way matching
  • Posts customer payments by recording checks and wires received
  • Posts cleared checks, wires and bank transfers
  • Supports check, ACH issuing and wire processing
  • Fixed assets listing updates
  • Simple journal entries
  • Other general accounting department tasks


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years accounting related experience
  • SAP or comparable ERP experience
  • Associate degree in Accounting or related field
  • Japanese writing/speaking a plus
  • Accounting or Business Degree a plus
  • Incoterms knowledge a plus
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organizations skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, mainly Outlook and Excel
