Duties


1 Perform Accounts Receivable invoicing.

2 Lead Inventory—monthly & annual inventory counts; assist Production with inventory entries; set up of any new parts/costs; make inventory adjustments as needed.

3 Maintain all aspects of Fixed Assets- complete monthly depreciation schedules, capitalize new assets, make asset disposals as needed, perform annual asset audit, etc.

4 Assist in month-end close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations/account schedules.

5 Assist with and serve as backup for AP functions.

6 Maintain Petty Cash.

7 Assist in audit preparation, as needed.

8 Assist other departments with any accounting items.

9 Perform other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Prefer a minimum of 2 years in accounting/bookkeeping, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • JD Edwards experience helpful.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically in Excel.
  • Cost Accounting experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a collaborative work style with other departments.
  • Ability to manage several projects at same time.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
