PMHFOS is currently seeking responsible and dedicated candidates for the Interior Design Coordinator position in the Harmarville area. This is a full-time position under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Security and Maintenance.  The Interior Design Coordinator shall assume primary responsibility for the appearance and décor of all community residences and other buildings of Passavant Memorial Homes Family of Services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERIOR DESIGN COORDINATOR:

• Design an interior décor plan for new residences within established financial parameters.
• Purchase furniture and decorative items for the community residences and programs, as needed.
• Lead the set up and installation of furniture and decorative items in the community residences within established timelines.
• Assist and support the Vice President of Maintenance and Security with the coordination of larger maintenance projects, as needed.
• Assist with individual moves and community residence clean out projects, as needed.
• Assist the Passavant Memorial Homes program operations team with physical site licensing preparations.
• Monitor residences for appearance, ordinary wear and tear, and damage.
• Conduct on-site inspections and prepare written reports, as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors supplying furniture and decorative items.
• Must communicate effectively and work cooperatively with all levels of personnel and outside contacts.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and be capable of working independently on major tasks. Must demonstrate ability to complete projects within specified time frames.
• Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Maintenance and Security.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE INTERIOR DESIGN COORDINATOR:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid PA driver’s license
• Experience with decorating, wall papering, etc.
• Proficiency in interior design
