TECHNICAL PUBLICATION DELIVERY ENGINEER
HUNTSVILLE, AL
Candidate will support Technical Publications Delivery support;
- Gather data to support production and delivery of a variety of end product(s)
- Prepare and compiling final technical end- products for delivery
- Gather general data to support production and delivery of end product
- Comply with program directives, sales orders, or other requests to ensure external customer contractual agreements for technical documents are met
- Review vendor supplied materials to ensure general contractual compliance
- Perform final quality check on data from writer or editor or on other data products
- Produce final products in digital format or other formats per contract requirements
- Maintain delivery record data files; receives, files and retains reproducibles according to contract requirements
- Maintain general technical data library
Candidate desired to have experience in the following areas:
- Tracking and scheduling Technical Data development and/ or delivery
- Coordinating Documents Deficiency Reports (DDR(s)
- Maintaining Technical Data Library
- Coordinating with customers to resolve post- delivery issues
- MIL-STD-40051, Preparation of Digital Technical Information for Page Based Technical Manuals (TM)
- MIL-STD-2361C, Digital Publications Development
Candidate must;
- Be a quick learner
- Be a self-starter
- Be flexible and have the ability to adapt to new information
- Travel if required
- Multi-task more than one project at a time
- Work well with a group and independently
- Complete assigned tasks within the required deadlines
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain a security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.
