What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Path Engineering?
As a CNC Machine Operator (also known as CNC Machinist, CNC Technician), you'll operate a variety of CNC machine tools, set up and verify tooling, and establish part offsets. You'll also be responsible for studying blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Additionally, you'll be tasked with loading parts, proving out programs, operating controls, setting offsets, simple program edits, and initial inspection of parts to ensure it meets tolerances.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of two years of experience working on the set-up of 5-axis machines, such as Hass or Fanuc preferred.
- Ability to operate a variety of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and scales.
- Working knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used to operate various machines.
- Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as blueprints, safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts.
