Electromechanical technician

Role

As a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Technician, Industrial Equipment Operator), you'll perform repair and maintenance of MHE, complete preventative maintenance routines, use electrical test equipment for troubleshooting, manage work orders, and respond to service calls.

You'll also assist in training customers to operate equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training / certification preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
• Proficient in PLC Troubleshooting Skills, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, and Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills.
• Experience with Conveyor Systems, Palletizer, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
• Ability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds, work in small spaces, tolerate varying temperatures, and work on concrete for long hours.
