What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furnace Operator position at Path Engineering?
As a Furnace Operator (also known as Smelting Operator, Aluminum Melting Operator), you'll operate and monitor furnace equipment for a smelting operation, perform chemical and material testing, maintain solution analysis and testing records, and ensure quality and safety standards. You'll also assist in the development and implementation of new furnace operating procedures, and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a furnace operator, particularly in aluminum melting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, and good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Forklift certification and willingness to be trained for Z class truck license.
- Ability to read and speak English to comprehend and participate in safety, hazard communication, and continuous training.
