Role

As an HVAC Installer or Apprentice (also known as Heat Pump Installer, Green Energy Technician), you'll specialize in the installation of Mitsubishi ductless mini split heat pumps. Your duties will include installing mounting brackets, refrigerants of the line hide, electrical service disconnects, and indoor air handlers, as well as securing heat pumps to mounting systems and terminating electrical wires in air handlers and condensing units. You'll also learn proper copper flaring techniques and how to perform standing leak checks with nerve gas nitrogen, evacuate systems before charging with refrigerant, weigh in refrigerator two systems, work in Main electrical breaker panels, and start up and commission new heat pump systems.

Qualifications
  • Experience in HVAC installation is a plus, but not necessary.
