As a MIG Welder (also known as Gas Metal Arc Welder, Welding Technician), you'll join, fabricate, and repair metal parts using specialized welding techniques and equipment. You'll interpret blueprints, ensure the structural soundness of completed welds, and adhere to all safety requirements. You may also prepare materials and set up for a welding device or robot.
