Role
As a Mold Setter Technician (also known as OpTech II, Mold Technician), your role will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency of our production line. You will be responsible for setting up, optimizing production runs, and performing quality checks on each machine. Your duties will include:
Maintaining quality standards and efficiency.
Setting up, optimizing, cleaning, and performing preventative maintenance of molds and machines in operation.
Responding to and correcting injection molding machines which have stopped producing.
Documenting production process and related quality assurance data.
Troubleshooting and correcting quality, process, machine, and mold failures.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Technical School Certificate is a plus.
3-5 years of direct hands-on work experience, with mold technical experience required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of polypropylene, polyethylene and acetyl resins.
Good verbal & written communication skills, time management and organizational skills.
Physical ability to lift and/or move 35 lbs and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor.
