Role

As a Quality Inspector (also known as Quality Assurance Inspector, Quality Control Inspector), you'll perform routine checks, tests, gauging, and instrument inspections of materials, goods in-process, and finished goods. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining peak productivity levels and ensuring customer specifications and quality guidelines are met.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older, H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1 year previous Quality Inspector experience in a production environment, flexible packaging industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, familiarity with manufacturing environments, knowledge of equipment and processes, ability to read and understand product specifications.
  • Ability to measure and interpret measurements using rulers, and have good basic math skills.
  • Physical ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds without help and perform various physical activities throughout the shift.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
  • Experience with calipers and micrometers.
