Our Chiropractic team is complemented by our multidisciplinary health centers, working in conjunction with other Diagnostic and Therapeutic Programs for fast and lasting results. We are seeking a high-energy, customer service focused Physician specializing in Internal Medicine, General Practice, Orthopedics, Physiatry or Emergency Medicine to evaluate patients in multiple locations while maintaining continuity of care.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs history and physical exams as well as image reviews
- Orders appropriate imaging and diagnostic studies.
- Completes comprehensive review of all records pertaining to patient's injuries.
- Determine Emergency Medical Conditions as defined by Florida Pip statute 627.736
- Be comfortable performing trigger point injections and willing to administer joint injections when necessary
- Evaluate and interpret X-rays
- Supports administrative decisions and activities affecting patient care
- Assists the staff in identifying and solving patient care problems
- Assists in maintaining continuity of patient care through coordination of care provided by chiropractors, registered chiropractic assistants, and support services
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to build relationships with patients
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a practice with other physicians and mid-level providers
- Any other assigned duties within scope of practice and competency
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Pass level 2 background screening
- Must have 5 years of relevant work experience
- Must be Board Certified (or willing to become certified within 5 years)
- Maintain an active full Florida license for at least 5 years
- Active FL DEA license is required
- Must be enrolled as a Medicare provider or be willing to enroll but opt out for credentialing purposes
- Willing to participate in the commercial insurance, workman's compensation and personal injury health plans that Path Medical provides (specifics to be provided)
Job Location
- Must be within proximate location to a Path Medical office
- Must be willing to cover different clinics within the applicable region
- Typical clinic hours are between 8am - 8pm Monday - Friday but may vary based on clinic needs
