Distribution Lead

POSITION OVERVIEW: Assist in supervising and training with packing, and shipping of specimen collection kits. Responsible for consistently performing the tasks assigned in a fast and accurate manner. Lead is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment throughout the department. Lead will assist team in all areas when requested.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with stat orders and End of Day process
• * Complete Inventory transfers

• Pack orders in a fast and orderly manner.
• Organization skills to track and complete assignments
• Provide any training team members need.
• Communicate clear instructions
• Listen to team member’s feedback.
• Monitors team members’ participation to ensure training is being followed and see if any additional training is needed.
• Report problems to area manager.
• Manage request for additional supplies
• Ability to fill in for supervisor in a limited capacity
• Keep cells stocked with distribution supplies
• Understand indicator communication
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Strong PC skills required including use of MS Office applications.
• Interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of organizations.
• Attention to Detail
• Organizational Skills to Track and Complete Assignments
• Good Communication Skills
• Stand for periods up to 8 hours
• Repetitive Finger and Hand motions within reach and below shoulders height
• Body Motions such as Pushing, Pulling, Stooping and Bending to obtain weight materials from shelf or floor (below knee level)
• Moderate Body Twisting
• Ability to work overtime when requested
• Lifting – up to 50 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Leadership Experience- 1-3 years
• All prospective employees must pass a background and drug check.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay

Experience:

• Leadership: 1 year (Required)
• Warehouse distribution: 1 year (Preferred)
