Summary/Objectives
Provides assistance to and participates with Branch Manager in the overall responsibility for the administration, operations, security, sales, staff development, compliance and customer service for the branch. Support branch personnel and manager. Build strong relationships with branch customers, community groups, and organizations. In the absence of the branch manager assumes the manager’s responsibilities.

Supervisory Responsibility
Oversee all branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager to include approving expenditures, time sheets and all other pertinent documents requiring Branch Manager Approval.
Direct supervision of Universal Bankers, Customer Service Representatives, Customer Service Specialists.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers and filing cabinets.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel
If necessary, travel will be primarily during the work day.
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent.
5 years banking/ cash handling experience.
Provide supervisory direction in the absence of the Branch Manager and support staff shortages by handling customer transactions as needed.
Open and close branch when appropriate.
Notary License
Three and a half years retail sales experience serving consumer or small business clients with two years leadership and coaching experience or Two and a half years financial sales and service experience with at least one year previous experience in a leadership and coaching role.
Preferred Education, Experience and Qualifications
Professional Certificate & Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business or 5 years’ experience
