Program Coordinator, Project SEARCH

PathPoint is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to lead our Project SEARCH team based five worksites in Ventura County, CA, including Oxnard, Camarillo, Westlake, and Ventura. Project SEARCH is a unique one-year internship program that enables adults with developmental disabilities to learn invaluable job skills in a competitive work setting. The Program Coordinator provides daily oversite to the five worksites, ensuring that staff and interns are set up for success and that the programs are on track to meet established goals. This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise a team of about 5 direct care staff and be an advocate for their growth and success.
• Develop and regularly review program curriculum to ensure that activities and supports are meaningful.
• Collaborate with interns, employers, staff, and other partners to creatively address any issues affecting interns' training and employment.
• Coach and support interns by teaching soft skills such as professional communication, behavior and grooming/hygiene, and hard skills specific to the internship duties.
• Review program referrals for eligibility, conduct intern interviews, and process program intakes and exits.
• Establish and maintain files for each intern. Write case notes, monthly intern evaluations, and other reports regularly.

What We're Looking For:

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster if eligible, or have an approved exemption.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is preferred.
• Must pass fingerprint background check, TB screening and basic health screening.
• Must have a valid driver's license with satisfactory DMV record and regular use of a vehicle for travel between worksites.

Compensation and Benefits Package: $22.00 per hour.
