About Your Role:
Provides Community Support Services to consist of rehabilitative skill building, the development of environmental supports and resources coordination considered essential to assist a person in improving functioning, gaining access to necessary services and in creating environments that promote recovery and support the emotional and functional improvement of the individual. Assists consumers with obtaining/maintaining community employment. Provide job development, job support, job training and transportation as needed.
Does the Following Apply to You?
- Must meet the requirements for paraprofessional status per DBHDD guidelines
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Have an understanding and sensitivity to serving the divers and special needs population
- Must have a high school diploma or GED at a minimum
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License with low violations
