About Your role:
As our Principal, you will oversee academic programs and operations, and serve as a school-wide leader fostering a safe, effective and progressive educational environment for all students. You will provide supervisory leadership to our academic and administrative staff, conducting interviews and other hiring responsibilities, providing performance assessments, and coaching staff to enhance professional growth. This role oversees the coordination of school programs/activities, student transition processes such as referrals, intakes, and reviews, and facilitates parent/community involvement in the school. As our Principal, you will play a vital leadership role in the success of our school, implementing school improvement initiatives, and realizing daily operational, educational and strategic goals.

What we are looking for:
  • Master’s Degree in Education, or a related field
  • Special Education Certification preferred
  • Excellent and demonstrated organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Strong desire to work with at risk youth
  • Able to successfully pass background and criminal record checks, and comply with drug free workplace rules
  • Meets all mandated health requirements (negative tuberculosis test, etc)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
