Our client company is seeking an experienced and energetic Sales Manager to drive sales for our center in Odessa. This individual is responsible for revenue production through outside sales calls, prospecting, and responding to sales leads. Sales Managers are expected to meet and exceed planned revenue objectives while soliciting new accounts and managing existing accounts.
Hospitality Sales Manager Responsibilities include:
- Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, making presentations, conducting tours, and understanding guest needs
- Close sales by building rapport with guests, thoroughly explaining product and service capabilities, problem-solving to overcome objections, and executing detailed contracts
- Attend chamber events and mixers, generating new business and relationships through active networking
- Develop a current database of schools, churches, and business contacts in the market
- Suggest sales programs to build a client base and increase the frequency of booked events
- Coordinate sales efforts in conjunction with direction from the General Manager and Strategic Sales Manager
- Manage a team of Event Coordinators to achieve set goals to ensure continued profitability
The ideal Hospitality Sales Manager candidate will possess the following:
- A minimum of 3 years of hospitality sales supervisor or manager experience
- Bachelor's Degree strongly encouraged
- Experience in selling in SMERF and corporate
- Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for sales
- Ability to effectively pitch and present information in one-on-one and group situations
