Patrick Industries growing Thermoforming and Paint Group is seeking a Group Human Resources Manager to act as a Business Partner to strategically support the sites in all facets related to Human Resources. Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, they will act a strategic partner to Leadership throughout the Group to successfully support all components of HR functions for this group of Business Units.
Patrick Industries is a leading manufacturer and distributor of components products and building materials serving different industries throughout the United States including RV, Manufactured Housing, Industrial and Marine segments. Responsibilities and Duties:
Working closely with the Corporate HR Team, the Group HR Manager is responsible for providing new and creative ideas and influence the Group of Business Units assigned to them. Candidates should have the ability to successfully manage all components of the Human Resource generalist functions so they may help guide and support issues when they arise at Business Unit. Acting also as a strategic partner, they will be responsible for management platforms within the Business Unit that include, but are not limited to: performance management, talent management and workforce planning.
Other job responsibilities will include:
- Create, manage and implement programs that bring solutions and synergies to the Group as it benefits the Team
- Create and aid in the development of new programs for turnover reduction, talent development, and other like-development training.
- Provide solutions to team member issues
- Working closely with Leaders as a point of contact for Business Unit HR related issues and opportunities
- Execute talent plans determined by executive leadership to include internal talent development
- High degree of focus on developmental coaching across our team
- Change manage utilization of our HRIS system for ESS and MSS
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
- 5 years of Human Resource Managerial experience
- Candidates must have a dynamic personality with the ability to work and communicate effectively with hourly employees to senior management
- Ability to bring strategic thought leadership while providing strong execution of detailed departmental functions
- Proven ability to create and sustain change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a high standard of attention to detail
- A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities
- The ability to produce innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the Business Unit’s daily functions
- Candidates must have strong accountability and follow-through skills
- The ability to work independently in a busy environment with changing daily priorities
- Flexibility and foresight to balance engagement and the business needs
- Those with experience in manufacturing are highly desired
- Candidates with multi-site experience highly desired
- The ability to speak, read and write in both English and Spanish are highly sought after
