What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assurance Accountant position at Patrick & Raines CPAs?
Responsible for the overall attest engagements. This position reports to the Assurance Manager. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employees may perform other related duties as required to meet ongoing needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform analytical procedures
Perform substantive testing
Prepare audit programs and correspondence letters
Make sampling selections
Maintain an emphasis on quality control and assist, as needed, with the peer review program
Work independently, while understanding when you ask for assistance.
Education/Experience:
Undergraduate degree in accounting.
0-2 years of financial statement audit experience at a public accounting firm. Public accounting experience must be recent, at most 3 years removed.
Requirements:
Experience working with privately held clients is a plus.
Industry experience is strongly desired in these major areas
manufacturing
real estate
construction
franchisors
not-for-profit
"Single audit" and GAAS experience is a plus.
401(k) audit experience is a plus.
CIRA audit experience is a plus.

Salary : $64,500 - $81,600
