The Air Force Wounded Warrior (AFW2) Program works with the Air Force Survivor Assistance Program, Airman & Family Readiness Centers, and the Air Force Medical Service to provide concentrated non-medical care and support for combat wounded, ill and injured Airmen (and their families) as they recover and transition back to duty or into civilian life.
Recovery Care Coordinator
Recovery Care Coordinators (RCCs) provide services that consist of advocacy support for wounded warriors, ill and injured members to enhance their quality of life and strengthen operational readiness.
Provide support to enrollee families or caregivers with respect to advocacy support to help make their jobs as caregivers more manageable and alleviate the stress that accompanies a major life change.
Job Duties
Required Skills / Qualifications :
Required Education Level :
Bachelor's degree in behavioral or social science, with a preferred emphasis in case management or social work from an accredited US based university;
and three years of experience in case management or social work.
