What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Worker position at Patriot Home Care?
The main function of the Direct Care Worker is to help clients stay as independent
as possible in the comfort of their homes. Direct Care Workers assist with the
activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, personal
hygiene, continence care, ambulation, and feeding. They also assist with meal
preparation, medication reminders, keeping the home safe and clean, errands and
transportation (called instrumental activities of daily living or IADLs) as well as
the overall supervision of the clients’ physical and mental wellbeing.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Home Health Care: 1 year (Preferred)

Salary : $23,100 - $29,200
