Patriot is seeking a Senior Salesforce developer who will customize, develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize our client's Salesforce applications. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will have a very good understanding and experience in software engineering concepts. You will be responsible for working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices. You have a strong foundation in Salesforce coding and development experience.
Requirements:
- Must have experience working in Agile development, testing, UAT, and deployment
- Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform
- Take responsibility for developing and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, SQL, SOAP and REST Web Services
- Automate processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow Assignment Rules, E-mail Alerts
- Collaborate with team members and other departments in defining business requirements for optimal use of Salesforce functionality
- Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
- Willing to be hands-on in producing tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports, project plans)
- Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform
- Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.
- Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.
- Performs regular reviews on implementation done by less experienced developers and offer feedback and suggestions for those codes
- Mentors the junior and mid-level developers of the team, and can designate tasks to team members in a balanced and effective manner
- Set up a development environment on one’s own, and can mentor junior developers
- Proactively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in Salesforce Applications
- Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/procedures
- Be able to communicate development progress to senior management
- Independently communicate with both client technical teams and business owners as needed during the design and implementation
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years experience
- At least Salesforce certification “Salesforce Platform Developer II”
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Direct experience working on CRM projects for middle market and enterprise size companies
- Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development
- Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Unit Testing)
- Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery
- Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experienced in Salesforce Development including Custom Objects, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and Migration Tools
- Experienced with web technologies (HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript)
- Experience using tools like JIRA, Rally, Git, SVN
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the company
