Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Dynamic Energy’s Director of Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of innovative, comprehensive, and integrated marketing strategy and campaigns to drive sales and brand equity for the Development (rooftop/land Community Solar Development and Origination) and Commercial and Industrial Solar, Storage and EV projects.
The marketing director is the owner of the corporate brand and all marketing projects that create the foundation for growth and long-term value of the organization. This includes marketing-related functions such as including print ads, brochures, websites, trade show materials, logos, videos, digital media, social media, public relations, and events.
Should have a high level of organization and communication and must have excellent skills creating and managing timelines, project plans and working across a matrix structure.
Key Accountabilities
- Manages and drafts all corporate communications, oversees PR
- Brand management and PR
- Manages marketing team including marketing calendar and marketing manager
- Oversees and manages marketing ad spend, budget
- Leads and assists in marketing planning and product introduction by participating in planning and development meetings; coordinate the implementation of approved marketing plans
- Responsible for coordinating with in-house creative staff, freelancers and select advertising agencies in the development of marketing materials, advertising, and public relations
- Develop communication and project plans
- Establish and maintain key media relationships, especially with trade and industry publications
- Lead, support and aid in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns
- Oversee vendors, advertising agencies, photographers, media, trainers, and event planners to coordinate approved marketing campaigns and needed support material
- Provide marketing support for sales, agents/dealers, and employees
- Keep abreast of key business issues and developments within the company as well as within the industry
Qualifications
Required Work Experience
- 5 years of marketing experience, including but not limited brand management, digital agency, corporate marketing, social media
- 2 years in energy industry, ideally renewables – solar/storage
- Management experience at the Account Executive level or higher or in-house corporate marketing experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Requirements
- 2 years experience in marketing automation with hubspot, Market, Pardot/Salesforce, or other digital marketing platform and CRM
- Experience managing projects in a cross-functional environment, with high levels of communication and organization
- Experience in high growth markets (ideally manufacturing or industrial tech)
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop and direct people to execute objectives
- Experience developing creative briefs as required for specific products/campaigns
- Ability to Travel up to 15%, including overnight stays
- Excellent written and presentation skills
