Junior Research & Development-SQL Developer

In this exciting role, you'll be a key player in our R&D team, designing, developing, and maintaining the critical database infrastructure that fuels our success.
Here's what you'll do:
Database Design Guru: Design and implement innovative database solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Data Modeling Master: Create clear and concise entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) and data models, ensuring data integrity and efficient information flow.
SQL Maestro: Write optimized SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting, ensuring efficient performance.
Stored Procedure Pro: Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and functions to automate complex database tasks.
Performance Champion: Continuously troubleshoot and optimize SQL code to ensure peak database performance.
DevOps Champion: Drive the DevOps process for databases, reliably propagating changes across test and production environments.
Data Integration Specialist: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources seamlessly into the database.
Data Guardian: Ensure data consistency and accuracy throughout the integration process.
Documentation Dynamo: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database schemas, data dictionaries, and processes for future reference.
Troubleshooting Hero: Respond to and resolve database-related issues and incidents promptly, minimizing downtime.
Team Player: Provide support and collaborate effectively with end-users and other teams to ensure a smooth data flow.
To be successful, you'll need:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL programming and various database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
A solid understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
Experience with performance optimization techniques for SQL queries.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Bonus points if you have:
Certification in database management (e.g., Microsoft Certified Database Administrator).
Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools (Power BI, Data Analysis Expressions).
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations (preferred).
