Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide office and administrative support to the Project Planning team. This position will report to our Charlotte, NC office but we will accept applications from anywhere in our company footprint (NC, SC, AL, FL, GA, KY, OH, TN, VA and AR). Travel to the Charlotte office will be required during the first few months for training. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Ensure that work requests entering the system meet department standards.
- Distribute incoming work requests to appropriate Planner.
- Act as liaison between the planning and sales team regarding project questions and deadlines.
- Communicate with product vendors on a regular basis.
- Keep vendor information in Salesforce accurate and up to date.
- Complete small project requests, that do not require planning.
- Provide quotes to the sales team.
- Communicate new vendor and product information to sales and planning departments.
- Work with the Project Planning team to handle administrative tasks.
- Enter costing information into the quoting system.
- Ensure that quotes leaving the department meet specific contract criteria.
- Create and distribute reports to management team.
- Back up Planning team during high volume times as able.
- Order material and supplies for the Planning Team as required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
