RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Management:
- Communicate with Production Manager to understand current Production Schedule
- Monitor Project Timelines and Production Schedule, analyze conflicts, propose changes to Production Manager
- Prepare documents for Projects to release to the Production Floor
- Prepare Methods of manufacturing to release to the Production Floor
- Assist with expedited corrective work orders released to floor and shipped
- Assist with mock up and sample request work orders released to floor and shipped
Shipping and Receiving:
- Identify crating needs and release crate plan to Production Supervisor
- Create loading plan to identify size of truck needed
- Fill out BOLs and print to release to Production Supervisor
- Schedule with freight company to ensure product is delivered per the project schedule
- Relay crate size and weight information to shipping company
- Confirm requested arrival time with PM and coordinate with shipping company
- Receive materials after arrival into inventory system
Inventory:
- Assist with monitoring inventory, updating current counts, and making purchases as needed for stock material and supplies to maintain Production Schedule
- Adjust Inventory as need for damage or physical count cycle totals
- Make Material and Labor use corrections as needed from floor employee issuing errors
Purchasing:
- Work with new Vendors and Suppliers to setup credit accounts and get vendor information packages completed
- Send information to relevant PSG departments to create new vendors in Epicor
- Research materials and supplies needed to find more suitable products that improve quality and efficiency
- Identify and contact approved Venders with best pricing
- Purchase project material per Production Manager’s requests
- Purchase Tools and Supplies as requested from the Production Supervisor
- Interface with Epicor as needed to create Pos, Receipt Pos, Create Part Numbers
- Work with AP to get invoices paid on time and ensure PO's match invoices
- Process recurring facility expenses such as utility’s and services.
Health & Safety:
