Job Summary
The Executive and Personal Assistant is a vital role providing direct support to our founder and owner! This position handles confidential information, requires discretion, insightful judgement, a willingness to jump in however needed, and be ready for whatever comes their way. The day-to-day responsibilities include taking on multiple projects, managing complex calendars, arranging travel plans, responding to phone calls and emails, and assisting with errands and personal business management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management and organization of the owners calendar by scheduling appointments, meetings, engagements, and daily activities.
  • Manage and coordinate travel for both business and personal arrangements.
  • Spend time and become familiar with all aspects of business and residence, supporting as needed, including running office and personal errands.
  • Assist the owner with timely communication, both internal and external.
  • Compose and edit letters, documents, emails, proposals and ensure follow up with those that require answers, responses, and written replies.
  • Monitor deadlines and upcoming activities for proactive planning and preparation.
  • Support organizational growth by being actively engaged with all areas of the company, including learning new skills and business details.
  • Coordinate onsite meetings, luncheons, coffees, in-house events based on daily needs.
  • Coordinate and manage vendors and contractors at office and/or residence.
  • Conduct ad-hoc research.
  • Draft simple spreadsheets and/or reports as requested.
  • Greet clients and other guests for meetings and events.

  • Ability to problem solve and follow through on a variety of tasks.

  • Demonstrate highest level of ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times with all situations and documentation.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and extensive use of Microsoft Office and/or Mac OS.
  • Must have reliable automobile with adequate auto insurance and good driving record.

About Patton Logistics Route Consultant
Headquartered in Nashville, TN, our team of independent FedEx Ground contractors manages a fleet of 275 trucks and over 225 employees across the United States. Our routes include FedEx Ground, Home Delivery, and Linehaul.
In addition to serving as Independent FedEx Ground Contractors, we offer extensive consulting services to new and experienced FedEx Ground route owners. These services include business valuations, operations/fleet management optimization, route efficiency analysis, and more.
Finally, we operate as FedEx Ground route brokers, maintaining an exclusive listing of routes for sale across the United States. We give each of our route sellers access to a deep pool of qualified and educated buyers.

Additional Information

  • This position will require candidate to primarily work from the office, but some work-from-home flexibility is included
  • PTO is flexible once training is complete and work obligations are being met
