The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the technical, functional, and creative quality of the deliverable product by providing indirect design input and quality control functions to managers in a comprehensive effort to assure completeness, accuracy, and a high level of creative problem-solving approaches. This position is also responsible for all facets of project delivery to assigned clients and as such is completely accountable for client satisfaction. The Project Manager is responsible coordinating with department head to inform, manage and meet client service commitments. The Project Manager will be responsible for the development and mentoring of the team with regard to culture and technical acumen. This is not a remote position. Candidate would need to be located in Indianapolis area.
Skill sets must include performance and /or direction of specific engineering work on diverse civil site design projects across market segments and with varying degrees of complexity. Specific engineering work may include but is not limited to the following: client communication, construction document (plan and specifications) and technical reports preparation and/or oversight; engineering analyses, opinions of probable costs, and supporting calculations; independently evaluate, select and recommend and /or perform design solutions, procedures, criteria, and quality control/quality assurance activities in order to deliver a quality design product.
Responsibilities include:
- Work in combination with department head to coordinate, manage and ensure successful realization of project and client needs/expectations.
- Work in combination with department head and other department heads to coordinate, manage and ensure successful realization of team development.
- Establish and execute comprehensive client service plan.
- Coordinate proposals and contracts
- Project management and coordination.
- Assist with project scope and conceptual design.
- Project schedules/budgets/billing.
- Project problem solving/finding solutions.
