What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Pavestone?
Pavestone, part of the QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC, a manufacturer for segmental concrete products for the commercial, residential, contractor, industrial, and retail customer, has an immediate opening for Forklift Driver located at our Scott City, MO facility.
Shift Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Load and unload pallets of product onto and off flatbed trucks.
- Utilize a forklift to move product from the plant to inventory stocking in the yard.
- Perform general material handling
- Perform general labor, as needed.
- Re-stack pallets as necessary.
- Climbing on and off of forklift.
- Work outside in all kinds of weather.
- Complete various material-handling functions as required and as needed throughout the shift. Tasks will be set according to daily production and will be monitored by the shift supervisor.
We require:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and safely lift occasionally up to 50 pounds independently
- Ability to take direction in an environment with ever changing demands
- Must comply with safety rules and regulations
